Details:
For the Ceremony, I arrived to the
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in
Kissimmee, FL early to capture some
establishing shots and set up the
cameras inside. As it turns out
there was another ceremony happening
before Ana & Joe's, so I was unable to
get into the church until right before
the ceremony and get setup. The
manned cameras were located at the front
right of the church, with a great view
of the bride & groom and the unmanned
camera was place about a third of the
way back on the right, and left on a
wide shot. The third camera was
used to get different perspective shots
and I manned both the primary camera and
the third camera. I was able to
move during the ceremony one time and
slightly adjust the unmanned camera.
I filmed some of the photo session
before heading to the reception
location.
For the Reception, which was held at
the Broadway Cafe and Art Gallery, I
captured all the major moments and a lot
of the crowd arriving and mingling.
The challenge here was the cafe has large
windows at the front of the store, which
while it was well light, did make it
difficult keeping the camera set
consistently, but overall I did a pretty
good job and the footage came out very
well. I really like the area they
had for the dance floor, as it provided
a lot of room to move through the people
and get some really good shots.
