Are You Our Ideal Client?

You may be thinking what’s an ideal client, aren’t you in business and want anyone who would want to use your service?  The answer to that question is yes we are in business, but no not everyone that would want to hire us is a good fit.  Let me explain it a little.

First and foremost our ideal client is someone that knows the value of having a great wedding film and is willing to invest in it.  When you are on board and completely committed to the process of making the wedding film, it will make it that much better.  We don’t really direct the action that much during the wedding day, because we want it to be natural, but there are a few times where we may ask for something to be redone so we can get a different angle (this is mostly during the prep time or the creative time either before the ceremony or during the ceremony and reception).

We love fun couples, because they tend to be more comfortable on camera, but that is not to say we don’t like more reserved couples.  Both can make great films, but it we just have to take a slightly different approach with them.

I would say the most important part of the equation is that we feel comfortable around each other.  We will be there pretty much the whole day and comfort is a must.  That is why we like to be friends with our couples.  Friends on Facebook and even in person.  We like to be a resource for them if they have any questions.

The last thing that is important is that they are willing to make the required investment in preserving their memories.  If you don’t budget properly for a wedding film, then you won’t get a good film.
