Wedding Mini-Feature | John & Salina | Killarney Baptist Church | Holy Trinity Reception Center

Salina & John had a lovely wedding day.  It was July and it was hot, but the comfort of Killarney Baptist Church and then the reception that followed at the Holy Trinity Reception Center kept us cool.  We met Salina at Holy Trinity early to set up some things and to get some early establishing shots before meeting her over at the church to film the prep.  Prep was challenging because Killarney’s Bridal room is tiny and covered in mirrors, so if you decide to get married there, please hold your prep in another location, whether it is at the church or not.  After filming her makeup, we stepped outside to wait while she started to change into her dress.  While outside, we couldn’t do anything but get hungry by the smell of 4 Rivers BBQ across the street.  Finally we got the dress on and we were ready to film the rest of the day.  The ceremony was beautiful and filled with emotion.

After the ceremony we made our way over to Holy Trinity where Soundwave Entertainment was going to provide an evening of music and make sure that things stayed on schedule.  They had their challenges as the caterer was running behind, but they handled it very well.  Before we knew it, the bridal party was being introduced and the evening was on.  There was some spirited dancing throughout the night, good food and lots of fun.
